A fun half day learning how to make colourful glass flowers that are guaranteed to last all year and not die on you! You will be shown a sample of small pieces that are achievable within the time and it's up to you to decide which ones you would like to make. You are welcome to bring your own ideas and inspiration. I will show you how to cut glass safely and show you all the types of materials you can use - from sheet glass, frit (crushed glass) and glass stringers, to stencils, copper or silver inclusions and sparkly dichroic glass. Suitable for beginners.

For those of you who say that you would like to stay all day creating more glassy goodness, I am also running full day workshops from 10am-4pm.
This workshop will be the same as the half day course for smaller flower pieces but also the opportunity to make the garden art Flower Pops which are mounted on a steel rod for use in the garden. There are plenty of examples of the Flower Pops in my garden and in the studio for inspiration.
I will show you how to cut out the glass circles safely and then you will paint any designs using glass paint and adding frit (crushed glass) patterns in a variety of colourways and patterns. You should be able to make up to 7 Flower Pops in the time allowed or mix and match with smaller flower pieces and fewer Flower Pops. Suitable for confident beginners and those more experienced in glass cutting.
